Unsolved Now: The Legal Battle Between VeryDarkMan and Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin Deepens

What began as a civil defamation case has now escalated into a multi-faceted legal battle with serious allegations of forgery and contempt of court. Social commentator VeryDarkMan, known for his fearless approach to exposing fraud, faces intensified scrutiny in his ongoing dispute with Prophet Jeremiah Fufeyin, founder of Christ Mercy Land Deliverance Ministries.

As new accusations surface, the lines between truth and manipulation blur, leaving many wondering: Is this a quest for justice, or an attempt to silence dissent?

Allegations of Forgery: Fact or Fabrication?

Fufeyin’s legal team claims that VeryDarkMan forged receipts to support his criticism of the church’s so-called miracle products. According to Mr. Ihensekhien, an attorney representing Fufeyin, the Delta State Police Command has launched an investigation into these allegations.

However, a major point of contention is VeryDarkMan’s reported failure to honor police invitations regarding the case. While his legal team has yet to formally respond, critics argue that the accusations may be an orchestrated distraction from the original issue—the legitimacy of Fufeyin’s faith-based products.

Could this be a strategic move to shift focus away from accountability? Or is there substance to the claims of forgery that could seriously damage VeryDarkMan’s credibility?

Contempt of Court: A Social Media Showdown

Further intensifying the case, VeryDarkMan allegedly violated a court order by posting a mocking video of Prophet Fufeyin on Instagram on January 6, 2025. The video, which shows Fufeyin sleeping in a private jet, features a voice-over—presumed to be the voice of God—addressing him.

Fufeyin’s legal team argues that this post constitutes contempt of court, as it violates a court-ordered status quo. However, VeryDarkMan’s attorney, Ademola Oyedokun, strongly disputes this interpretation, claiming there was no explicit restriction on VeryDarkMan’s right to comment publicly on the case.

With a January 29 hearing date set, the stakes are rising. Will the court side with VeryDarkMan’s right to free speech, or will it crack down on his social media activism?

What’s Next?

This legal battle is no longer just about miracle products—it’s about power, free speech, and the influence of religion in Nigeria. As new accusations pile up, the truth remains elusive. Is VeryDarkMan a courageous whistleblower, or has he crossed legal boundaries in his pursuit of accountability?

For now, all eyes are on January 29, when the next chapter of this complex case unfolds.

What do you think? Is this justice or a witch hunt? Join the conversation.
